Hello, I’m Ayo. I’m 28, a Nigerian. While I’ve been a professional writer and editor for more than 7 years, I’ve been writing for much longer. In that period, I’ve continued building my skills to meet evolving demands.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and I’ve worked variously as a freelance writer and publishing executive.

My last job at a publishing outfit was a particularly engaging experience. During my time at the firm, I was exposed, via my tasks, to many hidden insights regarding the business of publishing. This led me to pick up a few new skills that have been helpful since. In addition to this, I was also able to significantly improve my editing and proofreading skills.

I’m a natural at paying attention.

What stands me out as a writer is clear-headedness. My approach is conscious and focused, such that each word serves a particular purpose. Inevitably, this single-minded thoroughness shines through in the finished work.
